Artist Biography

Jan Balet was born in Bremen, Germany, in 1913. After receiving an excellent education, Ballet settled in America in 1938. Jan Ballet’s works are cited in several articles and books all around the globe. He is one of the world’s most important living masters of naïve art.  His works depict all of the joys in life as well as the irony and mystery that surround our daily experiences.  Now residing in Switzerland, Ballet is busy creating his masterful lithographs and paintings which are fancied all around the world.
